Decades before the 2020 Suffrage Centennial, women began working on the anniversary of the 19th Amendment. They created costumes, songs, all kinds of collectables, new books, films, music, performances. Schools, cities, states, museums, even the Pasadena Rose Parade were making plans and reserving venues. It was going to be a once in a lifetime celebration for the American Suffrage for Women Centennial.

With many miracles and extraordinary hard work, the Equal Rights Amendment was reinvigorated after 35 years. Nevada #36 & Illinois #37 both ratified the ERA and created the possibility of meeting the requirement of a supermajority; 38 states. The State of Virginia elected a majority of women and zeroed in their focus on the ERA. This set January 2020 as the time when 38 states would be accomplished thus opening full constitutional rights to ALL Americans.

I began sewing masks in March, 2020. Since that time I have sewn and delivered over 4,000 masks, (including 1,000 ERA masks). Every mask is sewn to order and filled in the order they are received.
